Because newborns are the prettiest creatures on the planet, in addition to being incredibly vulnerable and sensitive, everything terrible that occurs to them is met with extreme empathy and sympathy. Today, I'll shine a light on a rare neurological condition that, sadly, affects toddlers and children. trying to promote awareness about such a cruel disease so that moms may quickly detect it if their children are affected, resulting in an early diagnosis and hence a better and smoother recovery process. Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is an uncommon muscle disease, yet it is among the most prevalent genetic conditions, affecting around one in every 3,500 male births globally. It is commonly identified between the ages of three and six. DMD is typified by pelvic region muscular weakness and atrophy, accompanied by impairment of the shoulder muscles.
